Speaking with folded hands, she claimed to be “just 15 years old”—contradicting an earlier FIR that listed her age as 25—and stated that she was misled by others at the demonstration. Describing her actions as a shameful, “first and last mistake,” she asked for forgiveness from the entire nation.
The police action originated on Wednesday when a complaint was filed in Noida, alleging her remarks insulted the dignity of the Prime Minister’s office and threatened public harmony. A Zero FIR was registered and subsequently transferred to the Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi for further investigation.

Her apology video surfaced just hours after Prime Minister Modi released a video message on Instagram urging the public to show restraint and forgiveness. Addressing the abusive slogans raised against him and his late mother at Jantar Mantar, PM Modi referred to the protesters as “misguided youngsters.” He emphasized that anger, retaliation, or dragging youth through courts would not solve issues, stating that childhood mistakes offer a chance for correction.
Appealing to society to help steer astray youth back onto the right path, the Prime Minister explicitly stated his desire to forgive those involved. His public appeal for understanding appears to have prompted the young protester’s swift public expression of remorse.
