Goa earmarks ₹100 crore for Ujjwala LPG cylinder scheme

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the Goa government has allocated ₹100 crore for the Goa Ujjwala Yojana, aimed at supporting eligible households with LPG cylinders. Under the scheme, beneficiaries will receive financial assistance for three free LPG cylinders every year. The initiative is intended to provide relief to families from rising household fuel expenses and encourage the use of clean cooking fuel. The government said the scheme will benefit eligible households across the state, providing continued support for their annual LPG requirements.
