Police intercepted a truck entering Goa from Karnataka and allegedly seized hundreds of cartons of Royal Select Deluxe Whisky concealed beneath sacks of potatoes.
The liquor, reportedly valued at around ₹18.72 lakh, was allegedly being transported illegally. The truck used to carry the consignment was estimated to be worth approximately ₹6.5 lakh.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of officials, including Rohit Dessai, and led by officer Pradeep Kholkar.
