Ahead of the BRICS Summit 2026, Delhi Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory warning commuters of temporary restrictions and diversions across parts of the national capital.
The advisory comes in view of the movement of international dignitaries expected to attend the three-day summit, scheduled to be held from September 11 to September 13.
According to Delhi Police, traffic on certain roads in and around New Delhi may be temporarily regulated or diverted during the movement of visiting dignitaries.
In a post on X, Delhi Police urged commuters to remain alert and plan their journeys accordingly, stating that traffic arrangements may be modified to facilitate the movement of international delegates during the summit.
The police are expected to implement temporary traffic measures at key locations to ensure smooth movement and security during the high-profile international gathering.
