Police have registered a case against two unidentified persons for allegedly stealing telecom equipment from a BSNL cabinet near Fatorda Stadium.
According to a complaint filed by a BSNL Sub-Divisional Engineer, the suspects allegedly broke open the locks of the telecom cabinet and disconnected wires before removing tag blocks.

The theft is believed to have taken place sometime before September 11 and reportedly resulted in disruption of telephone services for customers in the area.
