Delhi gym trainer shot dead in Fatehpur Beri, 15 rounds fired by bike-borne attackers

A 28-year-old gym trainer was shot dead in south Delhi’s Fatehpur Beri area on Monday morning after two motorcycle-borne attackers allegedly opened fire at him, police said. Around 15 rounds were reportedly fired during the incident, triggering panic among residents.

The victim, identified as Vijay, was attacked in Aya Nagar village at around 10 am. According to police, the two assailants approached him on a motorcycle and allegedly fired multiple rounds before escaping from the area.

The shooting prompted a quick response from senior police officials, who reached the spot after being alerted about the incident. Police teams have launched an investigation and are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the attackers and trace their escape route.

Investigators suspect that personal rivalry could have played a role in the killing, though the exact motive has not yet been established. Police are also looking into the victim’s background and his recent interactions to determine whether he had any known disputes.
