Dicarpale: Betalbatim Sporting Club secured their place in the quarterfinals of the 15th Fatima Cup 2026, organised by Dicarpale Sports Club, after defeating Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 7-6 via a tiebreaker at the Dicarpale ground on Tuesday.
The match ended goalless at the end of regulation time, with both teams unable to break the deadlock.

The winner was eventually decided through a penalty tiebreaker. Betalbatim converted their chances through Oliver D’Souza, Joel D’Silva, Brenson Fernandes, Raj Kerkar, Riyam Asampur, Fedrickson Fernandes and Porsan Mondal.
For Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda, Roque Borges, Joston Dias, Judson Soares, Rio Fernandes, Ashley Andrade and Richie Vaz found the net from the spot.
Betalbatim goalkeeper Raynel Pereira played a crucial role during the match with an impressive performance under the bar. His efforts earned him the Player of the Match award, which was presented by Dicarpale Sports Club member Jeron Niasso.
With the victory, Betalbatim Sporting Club advanced to the quarterfinals of the prestigious local football tournament.
