Python safely captured and handed over to Forest Department

A large python was safely rescued at Ghadiwada, Cacora (Kakoda), after panicked residents alerted local wildlife rescuer Roque “Rocky” D’Costa. D’Costa promptly reached the spot and secured the reptile without causing injury. He later handed it over to the Goa Forest Department for safe release into its natural habitat. Forest officials urged residents to immediately report sightings of wild animals to trained handlers and avoid attempting to capture or rescue them themselves.
