NEW DELHI: The National Green Tribunal’s western zone bench at Pune on Thursday issued an ad-interim stay against any licence, tourism licence certificate or permission for construction of a resort or erection temporary structure within “no development zone” (NDZ) area adjoining Majorda and Utorda without prior approval of Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority, until further orders. The Bench of Justice V R Kingaonkar and expert member Dr Ajay Deshpande ordered issue of notice before admission on an application by Aleixo Arnolfo Pereira against the Goa government permitting the shacks in the area.
