PORVORIM: Porvorim Police have filed a 119-page charge sheet against 30-year-old Varun Nayyar in the alleged rape and kidnapping case of a minor girl. The police have recorded the statements of 30 witnesses.

It may be recalled that on August 23, the parents of the minor girl had filed a complaint at the Porvorim Police Station against the accused for allegedly kidnapping and raping their 13-yr-old daughter. Acting on the complaint, the Porvorim Police had arrested and booked the accused under POCSO Act and under Section 8 Goa Children’s Act.
