Mapusa: Camurlim Sarpanch Chhaya Gad was voted out of office in a no confidence motion tabled against her.

The motion was passed by 4-0 votes during the special meeting held at the panchayat office.
The no confidence motion was moved on January 2 by four out of the seven members against the sarpanch stating that she was not taking the panch members into confidence with regards to development of respective wards.
