Vodafone Chodan Club triumph

Vodafone Chodan Club scraped past Gonkarwada, Bicholim 4-3 to win the Bhanudas Prabhudesai memorial football tournament organised by Sarvajanik Ganesh Mandal and sponsored by Vismay Prabhudesai at Shivaji maidan, Bicholim.
The winners received Rs 4,444 while the losers had to be content with Rs 3,333. The semi-finalist losers, Muslimwada and Pateshwar were also awarded cash awards.
Deepak Dhavlikar, MLA was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
Shivram Falari welcomed. Deelip Dhargalkar compered. Nitin Kunbharjuvekar proposed the vote of thanks.
