PANJIM: The Auxiliary Bishop of Goa and Daman, Rev Dr Simiao Purificacao Fernandes, exhorted the members of the Catholic Association of Goa (CAG) to selflessly dedicate themselves to the welfare of the community and society.
He was speaking at the Annual General Body Meeting of the CAG, earlier this week.
The Auxiliary Bishop further said, “We have to be the living Jesus in today’s world and live and serve the community in the best interest of the State and country.”
The CAG acts as a body representing the Catholics of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman and works to promote and protect the rights and interests of the members of the catholic community in Goa.
