MARGAO: Alvito Moura scored a fine brace as Sao Jose de Areal scored a 4-0 win over Varca Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Second Division League Play-offs match, at Astro Turf ground, Fatorda, on Wednesday.
The winners led 1-0 at the break as Vasudev Dhamgoy gave them the lead in the 22nd minute.
In the second half, Sao Jose de Areal attacked from the word go and doubled the account through Alvito Moura in the 47th minute.
Varca SC were outplayed by the opponents in all departments of the game as they conceded their third goal in the 59th minute when Arison Oliveira struck.
Sao Jose de Areal drew the final nail in the Varca SC coffin when Alvito Moura completed his brace.
