VALPOI: Former Goa chief minister Pratapsingh Rane has said that if Congress comes in power, they would “restart mining immediately.”
Rane was speaking as the chief guest for the inaugural function of Agarshala hall, at Gaonkar wada Vantem village, Sattari. Others present on the occasion were Bhironda Sarpach Nitin Shivdekar, Deputy Sarpanch Tereza Andrade and Panch Sada Gaonkar.
Addressing the gathering, Rane said that if Congress comes to power in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, then, “We will solve the Goa mining ban issue first.”
The Agarshala Hall was built at a cost of Rs 15 lakh using Zilla Panchayat funds. The villagers felicitated the zilla member Premnath Hazare, Sarpanch Nitin Shivdekar and local Panch Sada Gaonkar for doing good work to the society.
