CONDY-QUEPEM: Quepem Veterans got the better of Pernem Veterans 3-1 to move in to the semi-finals of the Quepem Veterans Cup, at Condy Quepem ground, on Sunday.
Quepem Veterans started the match earnestly and opened their account in the 10th minute off Krishna’s powerful shot which gave no chance for the Pernem keeper.

A goal down, Pernem mounted pressure and came close to equalise and finally found the equaliser through Shankar.
In the second half , Quepem’s Anthony Borges collecting a pass from his teammate converted to make it 2-1 in the 48th minute.
Tofil netted the brace to make it 3-1.
Pernem tried their best to level the score-line but Quepem Veterans held their lead till the final whistle.
