Government woos non-polluting firms willing to move out of China

The State government is mulling possibility of granting the land taken back from the Special Economic Zone promoters to some non-polluting companies, if they want to shift from China.

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that Government is exploring such a possibility of inviting companies which are moving out of China.

“Till date no companies have approached us but if they approach we can explore the possibility of granting them SEZ land,” Chief Minister said replying to a query.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister informed that the decision on examinations will be taken tomorrow.

“Meeting for a decision on exams of school and colleges will be held tomorrow,” he said.
