VASCO: Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida along with Deputy Collector of Mormugao, Chief Officer of Mormugao Municipal council and the newly elected councillors from Vasco constituency discussed and decided about the course of action on pending pre-monsoon works from municipal area.
In a special meeting held at Ravindra Bhawan Baina on Tuesday, multiple municipal staff members were assigned with various works related to cleaning and identification of dangerous trees from the municipal area, pending pre-monsoon works from municipal jurisdiction before the arrival of monsoon.

“The main motto of this meeting was to immediately assign works to the staff and responsible councillors so that the timely execution of the works is being done. Another reason for such a meeting was to see that the necessary action is taken on the overgrown branches of the trees and some old trees posing danger to the commuters,” said Carlos.
