PANJIM: The bail hearing of Krishna alias Kisan Gaude has been postponed to Monday after the Children’s Court was informed that the police have already filed a chargesheet in the case.
The bail hearing was to come up Monday, however sources informed that the investigating officer did not reach the courtroom at the Children’s Court. But since the court was informed that the chargesheet was filed, the defence lawyer as well as the prosecution has sought a copy of the chargesheet and the case has been postponed to next Monday.
As reported by Herald earlier, Kisan serving his second month in jail, is facing charges of “carnal intercourse against the order of nature (section 377 of IPC, which is a non-bailable offence), assaulting a woman with criminal force, insult, criminal intimidation, and child abuse and sexual assault on a minor.
While he faces serious charges, his only apparent crime is that he loved a girl against the will of her father.
