3 indicted for abduction of businessman
VASCO: The Vasco Police have filed indictment against the three accused persons involved in the abduction of a businessman for ransom. The indictment was filed by the police before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Vasco on Thursday.
The 200-page indictment has accused the trio of the abducting and has testimonies of 37 witnesses in the case.
The accused Salim Khan, Abdul Kadar and Rajendra Kumar were found in involvement in the abduction of Harish Kumar Solanki, a Vasco based businessman. The accused had demanded ransom of Rs 10 lakh from the family of Solanki. The Vasco police had later arrested all the three accused after a chase.
