MARGAO: Principal Sessions Judge B Deshpande rejected the bail application moved by Abdul Jamali in the abduction case he is being tried for. While Abdul was represented by Adv Amit Palekar, the state was represented by Public Prosecutor Ladislau Fernandes.

Abdul Jamali is being tried for abducting Harish Kumar a businessman from Pixem Dongri in Vasco on June 8, 2018. Harish was kidnapped as he was closing the shop and Abdul along with two others demanded Rs 10 lakh as ransom for his safe release. They were caught red handed as Harish’s worker informed the police.

 who caught the culprits after a long chase and rescued the businessman.

Incidentally this is the second time Abdul’s bail application has been rejected.
