PANJIM: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, New Delhi has issued various advisories, instructions and directions to all the Multi System Operators (MSOs) and Local Cable Operators (LCOs) to carry only digital encrypted signals on the cable network in the country. 

The District Magistrate has directed all the MSOs and LCOs in North Goa to comply with the requirements, failing which necessary action to seize the transmission equipments will be taken as per provisions of Section 11 of the Cable Television networks (Regulation) Act, 1995. All MSOs and LCOs in North Goa are directed to submit their compliance report to Office of the District Magistrate, Panjim.
