PANJIM: Despite the uncertainty, the alliance partners have said they will continue to support the present government.

IT and Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte said that the alliance partners will ensure government stability.

“We are a coalition government and we have to ensure govt is stable. Parrikar is the Chief Minister and as far as discussions which are happening, unless something concrete comes up, it is immature to speak anything,” he stated. 

Khaunte said in the last 18 months they have ensured that the work is delivered in the right way. 

“The government is stable and we will ensure it is stable,” he said slamming the ‘gimmicks by the Opposition.’ 

BJP currently has 14 legislators while its alliance partners GFP, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, Independents totalling nine MLAs have extended their support to the government.
