MAPUSA: Calangute police arrested one Vikas Kumar from Arpora for assaulting a UP native. Police said that Kumar Thakur, resident of Arpora and native of UP, complained that Kumar assaulted him when they were on Baga beach.
They first had oral argument on some issue which later turned into physical assault wherein the accused assaulted the victim with wooden stick. Kumar is arrested under Section 506 (2), 324 r/w 34 of IPC.
