PANJIM: The BJP women’s wing in Goa has taken strong objection to AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s offensive comment against women wherein he questioned whether women wearing shots were seen in RSS camps.

“We condemn such a comment,” party’s women wing President Kunda Chodankar said at a press conference on Friday.

While addressing a gathering of students in Vadodara in Gujarat, Gandhi had slammed the RSS for not including women in their shakhas and had sarcastically asked, “Have you seen women in shorts in RSS shakhas. I have never seen.” The RSS had hit out at the congress leader for such a remark.

Meanwhile, Chodankar’s statement comes a day after South Goa Mahila Congress President Pratima Coutinho slammed Union Minister Smriti Irani for making disparaging comments on Congress women. The BJP vouched that Irani cannot make any such comments.
