As per the order issued by Department of Education, the six-member committee has Naik as chairperson, with Secretary (Education), Director of Education, Representatives of Art & Culture and Sports & Youth Affairs, under secretary (finance/expenditure) and representative of department of Health as members. The tenure of the new Board is for three years with effect from October 16, 2017.
“The Board shall meet at least three times a year. The non-official member treated on par with Group ‘A’ Officers of the State of Goa and will be entitled to TA/DA which will be met from the funds of Bal Bhavan,” the order by Education Director G P Bhat said.
