CM meets Union ministers, discusses Goa-related issues

PANJIM:  Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant who is in New Delhi for the Niti Ayog meeting met several top Union ministers including Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss Goa-related issues.

Sawant took to social media to announce his meetings with the Union ministers.  “Called on Shri @AmitShah ji, Union Home Minister and BJP National President in New Delhi today,” Sawant Tweeted along with the picture of him meeting his party president.

Later, he met Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani and discussed about creating business and employment opportunities for the Goans.”

He also discussed the issues regarding the IIT and NIT in Goa with the Human Resource Development minister. “Fruitful meeting with Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ji, Union Minister of HRD, in New Delhi today. Discussed about IIT, NIT, and GU. Invited the Minister for inauguration of Pernem Government College Campus,” he Tweeted.

He also met Union Mines minister Pralhad Joshi and briefed him on the State mining issue, requesting his intervention.
