Cabinet approves TCP NOC for land sale

PANJIM: The State cabinet on Tuesday approved an amendment to the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Act, thereby making the issue of no objection certificate (NOC) from TCP Department mandatory for sale of land in any part of the State in a bid to curb conversion or illegal sale of orchard land.

PANJIM: The State cabinet on Tuesday approved an amendment to the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Act, thereby making the issue of no objection certificate (NOC) from TCP Department mandatory for sale of land in any part of the State in a bid to curb conversion or illegal sale of orchard land. 

The proposed amendment, which will be introduced during the winter session of the Legislative Assembly, beginning on Wednesday, was approved by Cabinet members through circulation. 

The amendment mandates PDAs to issue NOC for sale of land in the city areas.
