CANACONA: The fire personnel on Monday attended to an emergency call and rescued a one-year-old child who got trapped inside a house at Ponsulem after the front door accidently got locked.

Canacona fire official said they received a call at 11 am, the caller said that there was an emergency as a one-year-old child got trapped inside her house. 

He said the child’s mother had come out of the house to put clothes for drying when the door accidently got locked. The firefighters opened the door with the help of a hydraulic door breaker and rescued the child.
