Chinchinim VDC meets
MARGAO: Chinchinim Deussua Village Development Committee (VDC) at its first meeting on Saturday were guided on the purpose and significance of the committee and they resolved to get GIPART to train and guide them in preparing the Village Development Plan.

MARGAO: Chinchinim Deussua Village Development Committee (VDC) at its first meeting on Saturday were guided on the purpose and significance of the committee and they resolved to get GIPART to train and guide them in preparing the Village Development Plan.
In all around 55 members were present today including the elected panchas, members of the standing committees and other committees.
The member went through the guidelines laid down under the 14th Finance Commission.
Various persons including the ward panchas listed out the works that need to be done in their wards and the total estimate for the same was Rs 5 crore.
“However, we are told that only Rs 18 lakh are available so we shall have to prioritise the works,” said Deputy Sarpanch Valentino Barreto.
