PANJIM: Eight cars were damaged, while the occupants escaped with minor injuires in two accidents that occurred on the outskirt of Panjim, on Sunday morning.

In the first case, the driver of a car lost control over his vehicle and hit two other vehicles on the highway near Army Camp in Bambolim. All the occupants of the vehicles escaped with minor injuries; however, the injured were immediately taken to the Goa Medical College (GMC) Hospital at Bambolim. Agassaim police registered a case in this respect.

In the second accident that took place at Merces junction, five vehicles were damaged and, here too, the occupants escaped with minor injuries. Old Goa Police have registered a case.
