MAPUSA: The Additional District and Session Court on Wednesday directed to send the clone copy of WhatsApp messages to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) at Mumbai and to submit report during next hearing involving Former journalist Tarun Tejpal.

Talking to the media Adv Cyndiana Silva said, “After hearing the experts for the prosecution and the defence, the court directed to send the clone copies WhatsApp messages to FSL at Mumbai to sort them in sequential order and also directed to submit the report (of the FSL) on July 16, when the case comes up for hearing.”

The former Tehelka editor is alleged to have sexually assaulted a former female colleague inside the elevator of a five- star hotel in Goa in 2013.

He had been arrested on November 30, 2013 by the Crime Branch after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the court. He is out on bail since May 2014.
