PANJIM: Following the High Court of Bombay at Goa order, Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has finally launched its website to inculcate transparency in the functioning of the authority.

The HC had pulled up GCZMA for failing to inculcate transparency in its functioning as per the requirements of the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) notification 2016.

With the launch of the website, citizens will now get access to resources, orders, agenda, minutes of the meeting and notifications. The new website can be accessed on www.czma.goa.gov.in. 

The division bench comprising Justice Prithviraj Chavan and Justice NM Jamdar had directed GCZMA to put in place a dedicated authority website within next 45 days and submit a compliance report by September 10.
