HSSC results on April 30

PANJIM: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Wednesday announced that the HSSC results would be declared on April 30 at 11 am. 

Goa Board chairman Ramakrishna Samant said that the results would be declared on April 30.

A total of 17,876 candidates – 8,568 boys and 9 308 girls answered the HSSC exams which were held from February 28 to March 29. 

Total 4331 students from Arts, 5341 from Commerce, 5264 from Science and 2940 from Vocational stream answered. 

Last year, the results were announced on April 28. The total passing percentage was 85.84 percent. As many as 18,499 students appeared then. 

The Board said the mark sheets to the higher secondary schools would be distributed on April 30 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm at the identified centres. 

The higher secondary schools from Bardez, Tiswadi, Pernem, Bicholim, Sattari, Ponda and Dharbandora can collect the statement of grades from Board’s head office at Porvorim, while those from Canacona, Quepem, Sanguem, Salcete and Mormugao can collect at Loyala Higher Secondary School, Margao.
