MARGAO: A part of the Hospicio hospital gallery wrought iron grill suddenly collapsed from the first floor and landed on the head of a woman grievously injuring her.                  

The woman who is an advocate by profession named Rizwana Khan was grievously injured in the incident. The woman had come to see a patient at the Hospicio when the grill came down crashing and fell on her head lady. She was treated for the injury which left her head swollen. 

Even the ceiling portions of the second and third floors of the gallery of the Hospicio are in a deplorable condition and will give away soon. The same can be seen collapsed at many places throughout the gallery.

The victim woman has requested the management to take care of the facilities at the Hospicio and to make sure these incidents don’t continue in the future. 

The lack of seriousness to deal with the problems of Hospicio could yet again be experienced in this incident as the Hospicio did not issue any official public statement till late night. Fear that the 2nd and 3rd floor slabs may crash in this rains are now lurking large.
