PANJIM: A leopard was spotted near National Highway-17 at Guirim on Saturday evening, with some passersby halting to capture it on their mobile cameras. Environmentalist Rajendra Kerkar confirmed the presence of the leopard in the area. "The leopard was sitting on the huge pipe situated by the side of the NH. It was sighted between 7 pm and 8 pm on Friday," he told Herald. The photos and video of the leopard has gone viral.
