Mauvin blames Cong for casinos in River Mandovi
PANJIM: Criticised for the BJP’s inability to live up to its promise of removing the offshore casinos floating in River Mandovi, Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho blamed his erstwhile party for granting them licences while stating that the BJP-led coalition government is committed to get rid of the casinos from river in next 3 years.

PANJIM: Criticised for the BJP’s inability to live up to its promise of removing the offshore casinos floating in River Mandovi, Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho blamed his erstwhile party for granting them licences while stating that the BJP-led coalition government is committed to get rid of the casinos from river in next 3 years.
Godinho said that Congress is responsible for all kind of scams and scandals that got bad name to Goa, right from narcotic trade to mining and SEZ.
“Everyone knows who brought the offshore casinos to Goa. Congress has even apologized to the people for the mistake and now they are blaming BJP” Godinho said during a media briefing called to extend support to party’s Panjim candidate Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for the upcoming by-election.
“Our Government is committed to removing the casinos out of Mandovi River.”
