MAPUSA: Our Lady of Milagres Urban Co-operative Credit Society Ltd, a leading co-operative credit society in Goa was established in the year 1994 with the late Mathew Urbano Braganza, a well-known businessman and social worker from Mapusa, being the Chief Promoter and Founder Chairman of the Society stated a press release.

 With the strong support from 21 fellow promoters, who were people of integrity, the Society was registered on April 15, 1994 and opened its first branch at Mapusa in the Comunidade building on May 22, 1994. The society has completed 25 years.

Since the beginning, the society has shown steady progress and made profits throughout and has been classified under “A” Category by the Govt. Auditors since inception.
