PARRA: A portion of a house at Parra near Calangute MLA Michael Lobo’s gym caught on fire on Tuesday afternoon. The loss is pegged at Rs 5,000 approximately. The Mapusa Fire Station was informed about the fire incident at around 1 pm.
The fire personnel from Mapusa station rushed to the site and doused the fire and stopped it from spreading. The house was closed at the time of the occurrence of the incident.
