PERNEM: An accident victim on Saturday succumbed to his injuries in the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.

According to sources, the incident occurred when 18-year-old Navnath Prakash Korgaokar from Gadewada-Morjim who was riding his two-wheeler dashed against a buffalo. Navnath sustained serious injuries and was later taken to GMC.  

Navnath was a student of Panchcroshi Higher Secondary School, Harmal. On receiving the news of the accident, his father suffered a paralytic stroke.
