MARGAO: The Goa unit of the students’ wing of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has welcomed Shiv Sena students’ wingand the Tarnyatyaancho Awaaz into its fold. The NCP Students Wing chief Ritesh Rawal said that the two organizations decided to merge with the NCP after looking at the issues raised by them.
Ritesh said that he had approached court to make sure that during Goa University Students Council elections all the 33,000 students from Goa are given the right to vote. “Anyone who has voting power should also have the freedom to choose the leader,” said Ritesh.
