New salvor sought for Lucky 7
PANJIM: Golden Globe Hotels Pvt Ltd could be looking for an option to salvage the grounded offshore casino vessel M V Lucky 7 from Miramar beach. With the widening of the gushing hole at the bottom of the 5,000-odd tonne vessel, it has begun sinking in the waters.

The company has now asked Goa-based Madgavkar Salvage Private Limited to quote for the salvage operation. “The company has asked us to quote,” one of the directors, Anand Madgavkar, confirmed speaking to Herald.
It is, however, not certain whether Mumbai-based Arihant Ship Breakers will continue with the salvage exercise.
