Notices to GMC Dean, Health Services Director
PANJIM: The State government on Friday issued show cause notices to the Dean of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) and to the Director of Health Services Dr Sanjeev Dalvi over lethargy into respective works.
PANJIM: The State government on Friday issued show cause notices to the Dean of Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) and to the Director of Health Services Dr Sanjeev Dalvi over lethargy into respective works.
GMC Dean Dr Pradeep Naik has been issued the notice for not showing interest and not taking the initiative in making necessary preparations for the visit of the consultative committee of Parliament to the Hospital on October 14.
The notice stated that the hospital was in a shabby State during the committee’s visit. Naik has also been asked to submit a detailed statement of money spent in the last two years from the allocated resources.
The show cause notice to Dr Sanjeev Dalvi pertains to ‘unreasonable’ delays being caused in finalising tenders.
