PANJIM: Jaison Joseph has been awarded PhD for his research on soft magnetic materials in nano-thin film form. The research was carried out at Department of Physics, Goa University.

The research involved creation of ferrite thin films by Pulsed Laser Deposition and Radio Frequency. Jaison is an associate professor of Physics at the Khandola Government College, Marcela.
