PTI, MANGALURU: G Nagendra Prabhu, Associate Professor in Zoology at the University of Kerala and Dr Usha S Heranjal, Anu eye hospital, Valsad, Gujarat, have been selected for this year’s Basti Vaman Shenoy Vishwa Konkani Seva awards.
PTI, MANGALURU: G Nagendra Prabhu, Associate Professor in Zoology at the University of Kerala and Dr Usha S Heranjal, Anu eye hospital, Valsad, Gujarat, have been selected for this year’s Basti Vaman Shenoy Vishwa Konkani Seva awards.
The two have been selected for awards in the men’s and women’s category respectively.
The award has been instituted by the city-based World Konkani Centre and the Konkani Language and Cultural Foundation. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each and citation.
