PONDA: Ponda MLA Ravi Naik on Friday vented his anger at Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar for instructing government officials not to visit MLAs’ offices or residences.

Calling Parrikar a dictator, Ravi, a former chief minister, said that by his instruction to the government officials, the chief minister was stalling democracy and development.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Ravi said that Parrikar’s order to government officials not to visit MLAs’ office or residences to address grievances of the public “is dictatorship which will not be tolerated by the Goans which will halt the process of development.”

He said with hard effort and sacrifice Goa get liberation but it seems dictatorship has not ended.

He further alleged that chief minister had issued the order to government officers only to prevent him from conducting meeting with officials on development issues as he was the only MLA focussing on holding such meeting in his offices.
