MARGAO: In yet another letter to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Curtorim MLA Alexio Reginaldo Lourenco has raised the issue of the alleged rapist Ishwar Makwana who escaped from the TB Hospital, St Inez on Tuesday. Lourenco stated that Makwana’s escape clearly indicates law and order collapse in Goa.

“Makwana is accused of 50 rape cases, including the Betalbatim rape case, and all indications point to the escape to BJP party, with whom this criminal has bosom links with your top leadership in Madhya Pradesh,” he said in the letter. 

Lourenco also pointed the video on a facebook called Goanet which shows a three-member group mercilessly assaulting a person with belt and rods. 

Lourenco stated, “The post has gone viral but sadly your government which claims to provide perfect governance is sleeping and no action has been taken against them.”
