MARGAO: Around 700 students of Rosary College Navelim on Wednesday  marched from the college to Margao town under the theme “Save Women Save Humanity” and they occupied the entire over bridge at Margao as they walked along in pairs.

Besides carrying placards with various slogans about protecting the girl child to help humanity, the students also shouted various slogans such as “Beti bachao, Beti Padao” coined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The march was organized as a part of Independence Day programme.
