VASCO: Taking serious cognizance of the mushrooming of illegal shanties as well as illegal selling of fish along the roads by the migrants, the Sancoale Panchayat on Saturday decided to remove the same within seven days.
A notice in this regard was also served on all migrants occupying these shanties following site inspection by Sarpanch Girish Pillai and Secretary Narayan Azgaonkar on Saturday. There are 15 shanties along the road, Azgaonkar said.
