Surprise check conducted on LPG cylinders
VASCO: Officials from the Department of Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology and Mormugao Mamlatdar’s Office carried out a surprise inspection of LPG cylinders supplied by Vasco Gas Services in the port town.
VASCO: Officials from the Department of Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology and Mormugao Mamlatdar’s Office carried out a surprise inspection of LPG cylinders supplied by Vasco Gas Services in the port town.
Legal Metrology Inspector Liladhar Kumbharjuvekar informed that on the instructions of South Goa Additional Collector, the Mormugao Mamlatdar ordered the three agencies to carry out joint surprise inspections of LPG cylinder supplying agencies.
On Thursday, the team of officials intercepted a vehicle attached to Vasco Gas Services and inspected 32 cylinders which were to be delivered to consumers.
Kumbharjuvekar said that they conducted the inspection of 32 cylinders and all them were found to be as per standards.
